Our Programs
In partnership with Salad Days of Skateboarding, we
launched our first tour in March 2025 across 5 regions
of Guatemala providing free skateboard lessons to
over 600 kids, planting the seeds for something lasting.
Since then, we have implemented a free weekly skate
program that remains a consistent and strong safe
space where youth continually go to build confidence,
find community, and grow physically and mentally
through the culture of skateboarding.
What started as a grassroots initiative has earned the
support of local municipal leadership and, as of this
year, the Guatemala Skate Federation has classified us
a skate school in Jocotenango, Guatemala cementing
our program as a nationally-recognized movement.

Global Scholarships
As of March 2026 Emerald Peace has officially launched its scholarship mentorship program, awarding scholarships to students from our skate school attending El Patojismo.
Through quarterly check-ins, we stay actively involved in each scholar's journey—providing the resources, encouragement, and accountability to ensure that every student we invest in has a clear path to college and the support to get there.

National Scholarship

In partnership with the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation, the Emerald Peace Scholarship launched in 2024.

Since its launch, we have awarded eight students across all levels of higher education, including PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s programs. Awarding a total of 30k so far!

Cafe Mundo is a bilingual, community-rooted educational initiative dedicated to building affirming spaces where Black and Brown youth, families and community members can learn, heal, create, and thrive together. Our mission is to support the next generation of bilingual learners through culturally grounded programming that centers creativity, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community connection. We value progress over perfection and are committed to creating a sustainable and accessible model where transformative educational and creative experiences remain affordable for the communities they are designed to serve—because every person deserves access to spaces that nurture their voice, identity, and potential.
Club Estrellita is a bilingual program under Cafe Mundo created to cultivate supportive, affirming spaces specifically for Black youth to feel seen, celebrated, safe, and empowered. Through culturally responsive mentorship, creative expression, wellness-centered programming, and community-building, Club Estrellita helps young people strengthen confidence, leadership, identity, and belonging. By investing in Club Estrellita, donors directly support the growth of accessible spaces where Black youth are not only supported academically and creatively, but deeply valued as the future of our communities.
